Laguna Lace agate is a variety of Mexican Crazy Lace agate. It is called Laguna Lace because it has fortified (banded) areas resembling laguna agate. Laguna Lace is a pseudomorph, agate after calcite, found in the State of Chihuahua Mexico. The material is mined by us on our claim.

Agate is a type of Chalcedony, it is a cryptocrystalline form of silica. Laguna Lace agate gets its name as a hybrid of Crazy Lace agate and Laguna agate. It is a variety of Mexican Crazy Lace agate. All of our rough comes direct from our mine in Chihuahua, Mexico.
