Showcasing the widest range of Artisan Handcraft in Tucson

Tucson, AZ (May 25, 2019) Introducing our three Fall shows in Tucson, this September. To Bead True Blue, Colors of the Stone, and Tucson Bead & Design Workshop Retreat -- showcasing the widest range of artisan bead, gem and jewelry creations found anywhere. 

The three shows running concurrently, 4 days, Thursday through Sunday, September 5th - 8th 2019, at Casino Del Sol, a Forbes Travel Guide Four-Star Resort. Open to the public, and presenting the widest range of one-of-a-kind creations found anywhere. The list of artisan categories and handmade products is immense, with each show having its own character, and a distinct list of contemporary and traditional artisans, exclusive merchants, and trades people. 

Casino Del Sol -- a Forbes Travel Guide Four-Star Resort --minutes from downtown Tucson, parking is free. The shows are open to the public with no admission charge. Casino Del Sol has just completed a new addition to its Convention Center, allowing everything to be inside the new convention space and for each show to have its own setting, offering a range of high-quality products. 

To Bead True Blue offers fine artisan beads across the handcrafted media spectrum, one-of-a-kind bead jewelry, hand knotted strands, bead embroidery, lampworked glass beads, polymer clay beads, textiles, art clothing, antiquities, along with all design elements and components such as silver and gold findings, chains, gemstone beads, and vintage pieces.

 

Colors of the Stone presents the rarest, hand cut gemstones, fine jewelry, unique mineral pieces, crystals, opals, rubies, sapphires, emeralds, jade, garnets, pearls, amber, topaz, lapis lazuli, peridot, onyx, tourmaline, agate, rose quartz, moonstone, carnelian, as well as handcrafted turquoise and coral set in gold and silver.

 

Both shows also include an eclectic assortment of trade goods such as ritual lamps, amulets, figurines, cameos, gold coins, rare silks, embroidered velvet, enameled mosaics, seed pearls, gold wrapped threads, and cloths of every color --as well as art-to-wear, textiles, fashion design, millinery, leather, felt, hand sewn clothing, vintage ribbons, woodblock printed fabrics, buttons, and exquisite items.

 

The Tucson Bead & Design Workshop Retreat features 225 workshops taught by artisans-in-residence, reflecting artisan design, originality, traditional skill, natural colors, and sustainable materials.
