The Miners Co-op is a show that is primarily made up of miners vending their self-collected finds. Due to this, the prices for their minerals are lower as there is no middleman. The dealers at the show can talk to customers about first-hand mining experiences often showing pictures and sharing stories. The dealers are also capable of educating the public on what a mining claim is, where they are located, and how they can file one. They can also share first-hand knowledge with patrons about places where they can go to collect minerals and fossils themselves.
The Miner’s Co-op hosts vendors who mine minerals, petrified wood, rough gemstones, and rough rock for lapidaries. The vendors also sell fossils, rare and hard-to-find rocks, finished metaphysical products, and custom-made jewelry. The show is kid-friendly, and the vendors love to take the time to teach children about rocks, minerals, fossils, and lapidary.
